Gagging For It is another enterprise of Viv’s, harnessing her enthusiasm for comedy to provide a showcase for what can be done by extending and customising a WordPress installation.
An open-source theme has been modified to work smoothly with the lastest versions of WordPress and the various open-source plugins essential for the website’s features to operate. There are now many other contributors to the site able to update the gig guide as needed, using the User Role Management capacity of WordPress.
The site has also been extensively tweaked for SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) purposes, to ensure that it is indexed regularly and appropriately for its topics.
